America's Foundation of Faith |
|
America's Foundation of Faith is a four-part series exploring the words, writings and historical evidence that demonstrate not only the faith of our founding fathers, but how that faith informed and supplemented the system of government they created. The series addresses the betrayal of their intent by the modern movement to isolate Christianity from the state, and gives real steps in how to rebuild our crumbling foundation. Presentation 1 - In God They Trusted
*
This presentation focuses on the faith of the Founding Fathers themselves. Though certainly not monolithic in the way they viewed every social or political issue, the architects of our system of government almost universally revered and honored the Christian faith in their private lives. This presentation utilizes an overabundance of primary source evidence demonstrating the individual faith of the Founders, and refutes in great detail the five primary arguments made against that faith by secular humanists.

Presentation 2 - One Nation Under Christ
*
While presentation one focused on the personal faith of the Founders, presentation two turns that focus to how the Framers used that faith to influence the formation of American government. We could easily call this, “What Used to Be Taught, But No Longer Is, In U.S. History Class.” Actual quotations from each of the early state constitutions, the continental congress, the revolutionary period, and the actual debate and discussion surrounding the writing of the First Amendment demonstrate that ours was a country undeniably founded upon Christian principle.

Presentation 3 - the Isolation of Church and State
*
Presentation three is a one hour exposé on the secular humanists’ stunning betrayal of common sense and our Founders’ vision as they pursue their radical interpretation of the “separation of church and state” doctrine. Juxtaposing modern cases and events that have occurred against the actions and plain words of our Founding Fathers, it becomes quite apparent that while the Founders warned of the consequences of doing so, these humanists seek to entirely isolate Christian principle from the public square. This presentation accurately depicts the undeniable war that is being waged for the hearts and minds of the next generation. |
Presentation 4 - Rebuilding the Walls
*
There is a way back, there is hope, and there is still an opportunity to rebuild the walls of our crumbling moral foundation. That is the simple message of this final presentation. It is crucial that if we want to solve our numerous cultural problems, we must focus on the roots of such problems. The lesson concludes with five significant, pro-active steps to reclaim our destiny by restoring our foundation of faith. |
