America's Foundation of Faith is a compelling look at the founders' intent - a Christian nation. This four-part series explores the writings and historical facts that show the faith of our founding fathers, shows how the church has been isolated from the state, and gives real application to rebuild the walls of this great nation. Lesson 1 - IN GOD THEY TRUSTED
This lesson focuses on the faith of the Founding Fathers themselves. Though certainly not monolithic in the way they viewed every social or political issue, the architects of our system of government universally revered and honored the Christian faith in their private lives. This class focuses on the primary source evidence for the individual faith of the Founders and refutes, in great detail, the six primary arguments made against that faith by secular humanists.
Lesson 2 - One Nation Under Christ
While lesson one focuses on the faith of the Founders, lesson two turns that focus to how the Framers used that faith to influence the formation of American government. We could easily call this class “What Used to Be Taught, But No Longer Is, In U.S. History Class.” Actual quotations from each of the first state constitutions, the continental congress, the revolutionary period, and the actual debate and discussion surrounding the First Amendment demonstrate a country that was undeniably founded upon Christian principle.
Lesson 3 - the Isolation of Church and State
Lesson three is a one hour exposé on the secular humanists’ stunning betrayal of common sense and our Founders’ vision as they pursue the radical “separation of church and state” doctrine. Juxtaposing actual cases and events that have occurred recently against the actions and plain words of our Founding Fathers, it becomes quite apparent that isolating religious principle from the public square is the true intent of these humanists. This lesson accurately depicts the undeniable war that is being waged for the hearts and minds of the next generation.
Lesson 4 - Rebuilding the Walls
There is a way back, there is hope, and there is still an opportunity to rebuild the walls of our crumbling moral foundation. That is the simple message of this final lesson. It is crucial that if we want to solve our numerous cultural problems, we must focus on the roots of such problems. The lesson concludes with five significant, pro-active steps to reclaim our destiny by restoring our foundation of faith.
