The recent hate-explosion of radical homosexualist Dan Savage – a man Barack Obama and his administration has warmly embraced – towards Christian teenagers is finally providing conservative media with an opportunity to do what way too many of them have been frightened to do to this point: expose this hate movement for what it is.
Even Rush Limbaugh, who on a regular basis displays the courage to expose even the most politically incorrect topics and causes of the left, has expressed extreme reservation about addressing the issue of homosexuality and the larger sexual anarchy movement it represents.
Not that all conservative spokesmen have shied away from the topic. Columnist and Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action, J. Matt Barber, has always impressed me as the Andrew Breitbart of Christian conservatives. Unafraid to speak the truth, and undeterred when harassed and labeled all sorts of names for it.
Unsurprisingly, Barber has taken the most recent example of Dan Savage’s hate to point out (once again) where the real hate comes from. His spectacular column begins this way:
They used to arrest middle-aged perverts who get their jollies from talking dirty to children. Today, they get a television show, a nationally syndicated column, a lecture circuit and multiple visits to the Obama White House.
You know: “Forward.”
The irony is palpable. Dan Savage, sex columnist and founder of the LGBT anti-bullying “It Gets Better” campaign, has been outed. Not as a homosexual. He’s out and proud in that regard. In fact, Savage pushes his “anything goes” brand of sexual anarchy on kids worldwide. MTV has even given the sex-obsessed radical his own show, “Savage U” – a moral-relativist platform from which to corrupt the kiddos.
No, Savage has finally managed to publicly discredit himself as the anti-Christian bigot and bully he’s always been. Never again will this guy be taken seriously as an anti-bullying crusader.
Savage lectures teens in high schools and colleges around the country on the benefits of “non-monogamy,” the occasional “three-way” tryst and any other disease-spreading sexual impulse that might cross their impressionable, hormone-charged young minds (and many they can’t yet imagine).
Well, recently, rather than just shocking his teenaged audience with vulgar, sophomoric psychobabble as usual, Savage apparently thought it’d be fun to bully the kids with whom he disagreed.

This is an issue that I don’t think we Christians – and all those who understand not only the family-destroying (and therefore society destroying) designs held by the sexual anarchists of the left, but who value the rights of conscience for people of faith – can let up on. The entire episode is very instructive for our culture to understand who are the advocates of hate, who are the radical revolutionaries, who are the aggressive bullies.
For that reason I invited Matt Barber onto the show today to discuss his column and this issue in general. Hear his insights and motivating message for conservatives at the “Listen” link above.
