Popping up like ragweed along with the spring flowers, the hypoccupiers are once more on the move. Picking up where they left off last fall, they are back to their mob antics of vandalism and blocking access to public and private buildings... all in the name of what they consider peaceable assembly.

But I digress... let us remember that a purpose of the hypoccupiers is to demand “economic justice” by protesting against, and interfering with, citizens they perceive to be “one percenters” and/or those they perceive to be supporting the “one percenters.” They believe that “one percenters” have attained their wealth only through illegal and/or unethical means. They are the “ninety-nine percenters,” and they’re not going to take it anymore.

So they pursue their path to success by marching, chanting, and, when the opportunity presents itself, living in squalor.

And they cheer. They cheer all those fine folk from Big Media, Big Entertainment, and Big Politics who they believe are on their side. I don’t quite get how they miss their heroes climbing out of their limousine to give their speech and then getting back into once they are done shaking a few hands. But, hey, they know who’s rich and who’s not.

Since the hypoccupiers have gotten geared up again, I think it’s worthwhile taking a look at heroes and heroines of the left.

The Huffington Post has made quite a name for itself among the left. One can be sure that the liberal who wants to leave a diatribe against anything decent can do so at the Huffington Post.

So naturally, Arianna Huffington, a co-founder of the Huffington Post, is a darling of the left. She’s one of them... a regular “ninety-nine percenter.”

According to various sources, Ms. Huffington is a multimillionaire. AM New York pegged her net worth at $115 million in February, 2011.

Funny, I think that she comes closer to being a “one-percenter” instead of a “ninety-nine percenter.” How many nights has she hung out in Liberty Square, I wonder.
