Want to know what one presidential candidate thinks about capital punishment?
Part of my platform is, of course, the guilty must be punished and that we no longer let our children see their guilty leaders getting away with murder. I do say that I am in favour of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty. I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the re-education camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded.
Well, OK, this candidate is admittedly a "self-proclaimed" presidential candidate, but this is what she said she would do "if she were president."
Ms. Roseanne Barr is a "Green Tea Party" presidential candidate.
Anyone notice how many TEA Party wannabes there are running loose? I think that the "green" part of her party must be from "green with envy."
Here again is civil discourse from the left. Part of the "Green Tea Party" platform is to return to guillotine executions. Compare that with the guiding philosophy and motivation of real TEA Parties:
From a local TEA Party organization -
Our goal is the protection of the Constitution of the United States, upholding the Bill of Rights, and ensuring that our representatives at the federal, state and local levels are held to the highest degree of moral servitude while representing the citizens of this great nation.
And from a national organization:
Tea Party Patriots, Inc. as an organization believes in the Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. Tea Party Patriots, Inc. is a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, the Bill Of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers. We recognize and support the strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The Tea Party Patriots stand with our founders, as heirs to the republic, to claim our rights and duties which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the founders, that there exists an inherent benefit to our country when private property and prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual. As an organization we do not take stances on social issues. We urge members to engage fully on the social issues they consider important and aligned with their beliefs.
Notice any differences, no matter how slight?
Yet, Big Media, Big Entertainment and their minions, and liberal syndicated columnist types love to mock the TEA Party and label the concerned citizen members "dangerous." Wow!
Oh well, never a dull moment in the land of left-believe. And never a lack of lib-quotes to choose from. Catch ya' again next week!
